ApprovalHub

Sequential, role-based approval workflows with a permanent audit trail.

Key concepts

An Approval Role is a named participant in a chain, such as "Manager" or "Finance" — a role can have several people in it, any one of whom can act on a step. A Workflow is an ordered sequence of roles a request must pass through. A Request is a single submission running through one workflow, one step at a time.

How to set up a workflow

  1. Create the approval roles you need (Settings → Approval Roles) and add the right people to each
  2. Create a workflow, name it, and add roles in the order they should approve
  3. Submit a request against that workflow — plain text can be parsed automatically into a title, description, and amount
  4. Each approver sees the request under "Pending my approval" once it reaches their step, and can approve or reject with a comment

Audit trail

Every decision — who, when, and any comment left — is recorded permanently against the request, so there's a full record of who signed off on what.
